From the basics to your first tacks, this course will help you make rapid progress in an ideal learning environment.

The CKS recommends that you schedule your sessions closer together.

For all levels

In your first session, you'll learn how to:

  • Step into your board and stabilize your sail with one hand
  • Get out of the water (Water Start) and glide your first few meters
  • Understanding Your Drift
  • Manage your practice area and get yourself out of harm's way
  • First Rides
  • Heading into the wind

You will move on to the coaching package (€90) once you can ride upwind and have mastered the board-retrieval tow-in technique.

This is where true independence begins!

Coaching is a session designed to push you to new heights—from transitions to unhooked tricks, CKS helps you reach new levels of performance.

Foil and Wingfoil Lessons

€160 for a 2-hour private lesson
€135 per person for duo lessons: 2.5-hour session, one foil shared between two students on a rotating basis

Guided foil sailing session: €100 – Equipment provided; departure and return by foil boat in Simon Bay; reserved exclusively for experienced riders. No instruction provided.

The school also offers rentals for €80 per half-day (kite, board, harness, helmet, wetsuit) after your skill level has been assessed during a coaching session. You must have your skill level assessed before you can rent equipment on your own.

Rental is supervised by the instructor, exclusively at the Cap Est location.

Each reservation will be confirmed upon receipt of the registration form and completion of the online license application.

Excursion/downwind trip for groups of up to 5 kitesurfers (price upon request)

Have you ever tried kitesurfing?Here is the schedule for the first session.

You will learn how to:

  • Launching your kite on your own
  • Getting around on foot with your kite
  • Keeping you safe in any situation
  • Understanding the flight envelope and utilizing the power band in a controlled manner
  • Driving with and without traction
  • Have yourself pulled along on your stomach by generating strong pull with your kite (tow-in)

Generally, you'll learn how to put on your board during the second session, once you've mastered the points above.

Some people will get on the board right from the first lesson, while others will do so later. However, private or small-group lessons help you progress quickly. Don’t set any goals for yourself until you’ve had your first session.
